For the 2nd time in three years, the 2007
Cahaba Valley Lions have won the Jefferson
Shelby Youth Football League championship
for the 130lb division. The Lions shut out a
good Thompson team 16-0, posting a perfect
10-0 season. Congratulations to head coaches

125lb 2005 Gold Team (Jeff Davis Head Coach)
The 125lb Gold team went undefeated (10-0)
to become the first league champion in the
Briarwood Youth Football program. |

125lb 2005 Blue Team (Harry Pearson Head
Coach)
The 125lb Blue team finished third in the
league of nine teams with a 6-3 record. The
blue team became the 2nd team in Briarwood's
history to make the playoffs. |
130lb 2006 Gold Team (Dave Proctor Head
Coach)
After starting out 2-3, the Gold team won
three games in a row to make the playoffs.
They became the third team to make the
playoffs in Briarwood Youth Football
history. |
